It's holiday time and try as I might, I can't help being busy. Perhaps you'll appreciate a few upcoming tiny posts from me-short writing, shorter reading. They're going to go a little like this...
Although my girls are in their twenties, I remember how much I loved seeing them write. We'd write to grandparents and other family members, and we'd do the Santa letters, too. For a while, we did Pillow Journals, swapping thoughts back and forth via their individual journals. Those are a priceless way to practice, plus the contents make for tremendous memories!
I am heartbroken to hear that script handwriting has been removed from many school curriculums. How will these kids ever learn to do their signatures?
